How to irritate Mac users in one easy step. It's not "MAC"; it's not an
acronym or an initialism. It's "Mac", short for "Macintosh". It's also
generally referred to as "the Mac" by users, perhaps because Apple has
never licensed anyone else to use the operating system. As for the Mac
being easy to use, yes, the operating system and interface are very easy to
work with, but that doesn't mean that a Mac application can't have very
complex features. A chess board and pieces are fairly easy to learn to use,
but I doubt anyone would suggest that playing chess is easy.
