Ah but at least your expert wants to edit the copy. I have the other extreme.
The other day I was talking to a product manager about a project. He told me
some extremely vague ideas about what he didn't like (e.g., "I don't like the
headers"). So I naturally asked him to mark up his copy and return it to me
and I would try to incorporate the changes. His response: "If I have to mark
it up. What's your job?" I tried to explain to him that this is the normal
process. I write, the project manager edits and returns it, and I rewrite. He
seemed to think I was giving him a hard time because I had the audacity to
demand his comments in writing. He had no concept that this was an
interactive process.

Now this is frustrating.
