I have never heard the term used as "a Black American English term for a
sexually related pleasures." Where did you come up with that idea? BTW, I
think you were right with the first guess.
Is the woman in that jam commercial that everyone seems to have seen
swooning because "jelly" is an inappropriate word for such an excellent
jam, or because it's a Black American English term for a variety of
sexually related pleasures?
"It must be jelly, 'cause jam don't shake like that"
