Levi, Ray & Shoup, Inc. (LRS), a leading information technology organization
with
a 15-year reputation for excellence, has an immediate opening for a
full-time, salaried senior technical writer to join its Consulting Division.
This position requires relocation to Springfield, IL, and travel throughout
Illinois.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating user
documentation, training manuals, on-line help, and on-line documentation.
Requirements:
--B.A. in English or related field (preferably a structured writing program)
--3-4 years of technical writing experience
--Excellent writing skills
--Ability to work on multiple projects at once
--Ability to work independently or as part of a team
--Excellent editorial and proofreading skills
--Knowledge of MS Windows 3.1required
--Knowledge of Word for Windows, RoboHelp, Doc-to-Help preferred.
