To answer your question, I don't think Quattro Pro provides any way to
delete a file. This is typical of Windows applications. They let you
fill up your hard disk, but not empty it. You need to use the file
manager or MS-DOS to do deletions.

However, it does not surprise me that thoroughly searching the Quattro
Pro documentation failed to reveal useful information. We teach a course
on designing usable documentation and use Quattro Pro Version 5.0's manual
as part of the exercises. (The attendees conduct usability test of the
manual, then rewrite portions and try it again.)
