Here's a program you might find useful for your technical writing
applications:

Words Count is a new writing analysis program for Windows that
gives you information about your writing, such as the use of
transitions, subordination, vague words and word length.

With its more than fifty analytic functions, you can check your
writing for clarity, coherence, ease of understanding, and
vocabulary richness. It's highly customizable and only $25 plus S&H

If you're interested, send your e-mail address for a full description,
complete with example outputs, to me at R_Harris -at- ix -dot- netcom -dot- com -dot-

Thanks,
