Technical communicators represent many aspects of
business and technical communication--from computer
software to training and development--each genre having its
own professional organization.

PCS--IEEE Professional Communication Society
ACM/SIGDOC--Association of Computer Manufacturer's
Special Interest Group for Documentation

Each group will provide a 15-20 minutes presentation on
what their organization does, who belongs, and how their
services benefit technical communicators. Round tables will
be set up for each group to display brochures, awards,
publications, membership information, and so forth.
Following the presentations, networking and socializing will
wind up the evening.
Please park in the visitors area north of the student union
building, and plan to exit by 9:00 p.m. A parking fee is
assessed after that time.
Hope you'll plan to join us!
