I haven't seen an answer to your question, Wineke, so here goes:

The Microsoft Manual of Style for Technical Publications
Microsoft Corporation
Microsoft Press, 1995.
ISBN 1-55615-939-0

This is a book with a disk that contains the Windows 95 version of
the book online. The book cover says, "Covers new terms and
technologies for Microsoft Windows 95"

I've found this helpful, especially when used as fodder for
disagreements with engineers....<grin>
