For some examples of layout control using table notation, see:

--where you can also get the latest on real Amer'cuns--the
Freemen and the Unabomber. The source is neatly laid out and
well annotated, and there's a clever use of an 89A GIF, too in
the "Hot News" button. It ain't tables, but who plays by the
rules nowadays, eh?
