I vote NO on the moderated list issue.

The biggest problem I have found with moderated lists is a lack
of consistency. This is especially true when there are multiple
moderators, which is what this list would need because it is so
large.

Even with moderation guidelines, individual personalities will
come into play. What one moderator permits, another will reject.
This leads to hurt feelings and flame wars with moderators.

Don't do it.
