Hello. My company is currently converting our Word 7.0 documents (running on
Windows NT) to Folio Views for on-line distribution. This process is too
painful and time-consuming based on the fact that our documents are very
complex (the format) and that there isn't a straight Word-to-Folio software
package to do the conversion. So we're writing macros/programs to do the
conversion, reworking templates when the macros fail, etc. Nightmare city!

Two questions:

1. Does anyone know about a 3rd party software package that will convert Word
documents to Folio with a minimum amount of rework? (Our Folio vendor doesn't
know about one, but it's worth asking.)

2. What other software products can do convert Word to an on-line viewer with
minimal fuss? (E.g., Acrobat, FrameViewer, BookManager, etc., etc.). We need
a solution that can convert our Word documents less painfully and more timely,
as well provide a reader software solution that allows sophisticated searching
abilities across and between large documents.

Thanks tremendously for any feedback!
