Yep. And RTF seems to change every time a new version of Word comes out,
making it not as reliable an interchange format as could be hoped for.

Try this: Save a file with an embedded graphic in RTF from Word. Open it
with Ami Pro. No graphic! Open it with Mac Word. There's the graphic!

RTF is a nice interchange format in theory, but only MS seems to get it
right, probably because only MS knows what the feature set is at any given
point in time.
