Confidential stamps

Subject: Confidential stamps

I need to write a confidentiality stamp (e.g., This document contains
confidential and proprietary information which is the sole property of
AI, Ltd., etc...) to be placed on all internal documents for external
distribution.

The goal: a consistent stamp across all departments.

The problem: Software doesn't like the stamp hardware wants to use,
hardware doesn't like the stamp software wants to use, and drawings
(board renderings, software flowcharts, etc.) must protect the design
concepts as well as protect distribution of the drawing.

Has anyone had to go through this process? Hints? Samples? Words of
advise?

Thanks.
