Hi all of you considering or working with on-line manuals.

This month's "Tip of the month for technical writers" on "The Website
for User Friendly Manuals" is about the very fundamental differences
in structure and use between on-line manuals and paper based manuals.
It was originally shorter and intended for the list, but it became
too long, and I needed to add some graphics. The current version
reflects a digest of points covered by the previous discussions on
the TECHWR-L plus PRC's experiences.

It is accessible on
http://www.pip.dknet.dk/~pip323/index.htm
from where you click the "Tip of the month" link.

Greetings from Denmark
