None that I'm aware of. It goes against any design guideline I've ever
seen. (I have seen marginalia such as little pointing hands calling
attention to notes or warnings, but I think you're talking about simple
bulleted lists.) I'm also bothered by the use of bulleted lists within
bulleted lists within bulleted lists. It seems to me that reorganization
(probably adding another heading level) would be more appropriate.
