This morning's comics page brought me a wonderful example of minimalist
writing. Hagar the Horrible, drawn by Chris Browne, dealt with Norwegian
winters.
Lucky Eddie: There's one great thing about Norwegian winters
Hagar: What's that?
LE: When we have a blizzard, it's a doozie!
The only drawing in either panel was the dialog balloons.
The message was aptly conveyed by the absence of drawing.
