Do you find that your work space affects your output or morale?

Tom DeMarco has an excellent study out on this and related topics. It's
called "Peopleware," and while it's aimed mainly at computer techies, I
think much of it applies to TW's as well.

(If you can't wait to get the book to find his answer, he claims 100 sq ft
is the optimum cubicle size. I've had experience in several sizes from 36
to 100, and I'll vouch for the fact that I found 100 more comfortable to
work in. I don't know at what point the law of diminishing returns sets in,
because I never got beyond 100, but I know I wasn't looking for more floor
space at that time, just shelf space.)

Have fun,
