Wasn't Pete referring to the practice of searching the Internet for
information it's illegal to ask for in a job interview? I would imagine
the unspeakable fact of having a degree in English (imagine that, for a
writing position!) would appear in the resume, making an Internet search
unnecessary except for sheer prurience.
