Perhaps you could share with us why Weyerhaeuser adopted Saros (and not
something else).

I don't know the decision-making process, but I know that one factor is
that Saros has been around (in Bellevue, WA) for quite a few years and
they appear to be an (if not the) industry leader in enterprise document
management. I did respond to the announcement of the standard, because
they said another factor was that Saros Mezzanine (that's the product
name) required NT as the server platform -- I noted that it also runs on
NetWare, OS/2, and UNIX servers.
