The ONLY reason I can think of to legitimately have an agency rep
at an interview is to scope out the requirements of the job, particularly
if the deliverable is in writing, and the agency is on the hook for it if
you don't deliver satsifactory goods within the contract's time frame.

Also, if the client is known for changing requirements, but not upping the
contract dollars, the agency needs to completely understand the base
starting line, so that changes above a certain percentage of the total work
can be negotiated as additional time/money on the contract.

(I have often dealt with fixed-price deliverables, so that's my orientation
here.)
