Oh, Ye of infinite wisdom ... I need some advice on relocating to a
remote office.

BACKGROUND: I am a technical editor/web developer for XYZ software
company in the Northeast. However, I have decided to move to the Midwest
for personal reasons. I had a job offer from a Midwest company, but XYZ
matched the offer, asked me to remain an employee, and work out of
their Midwest branch (or from my new home) --- BUT still support the
projects developed by the Northeast branch. I was thrilled to stay with
XYZ (I love this company!!). Now I have three months to arrange the
move.

QUESTION: Has anyone else experienced this situation? What things
should I consider when setting up a remote office (3 days at home, 2
days in the Midwest branch or vice versa)? What tips can you offer ("If
only someone had told me........")?

Thanks in advance. (Please respond off-list to redick_kimberly -at- prc -dot- com -dot-
)
