We often include ppt presentations on our intranet site, but not in
html. We convert them to pdf, which works nicely since Acrobat 3.0
launches inside the browser and is essentially invisible to the user (
aside from the few seconds it takes to launch it and read the file).
It's fast, represents a 100% duplication, and saves gobs of time.
Realize, though, that the user requires Acrobat Reader (free on the web
at www.adobe.com).
