They mean that, because it's beta software, they don't want people to be
annoyed or surprised when it crashes. They also won't be offering tech
support for it.

Frankly, I just assume that because it's MS software, I shouldn't be
surprised or annoyed when it crashes.

If you're ok with installing betas, then by all means. You don't have to
be an expert MSIE user-- just an expert computer user.
