WMF versus BMP

How can I force the graphics in my help file to be wmf files instead of
bmp files without going into the rtf file and changing each graphic? I
prefer wmf graphics since these print clearly from the help file.
I am using Doc to Help. When I convert the word file to rtf and compile,
the system randomly saves some graphics as bmp files and other graphics
to wmf files. I cannot seem to find any rhyme or reason for which are
converted to each format.
Thanks in advance for your input.
Liz
