We are embarking on an attempt to publish images that are stored in a
database. The plan is to extract them from the database and
automatically place them in a FrameMaker document using a prepared
template.

Has anyone out there done anything like this?

Any thoughts and suggestions on processes or tools (or a simple "Good
luck!") would be welcome.

Thanks,
