"How to Write Effective Hazard Alert Messages" by Charles
Kemnitz. (His main source is ANZI Z535, and he helped
write the spec on behalf of his employer at the time.)

"Notice should be used for hazards that may result in property
damage only. Important designates an operating tip or maintenance
suggestion."
