It's all very subjective really. Quite often "foreigners" speak better
English because it is taught as a foreign language - better grammar, use of
apostrophes etc. However even "natives" can have problems. At one job we
did some work for Tandem and got their style guide stating tenses to use
and so on - very exact. However I'd used the word "comprise" (eg the kit
comprises...) and was told that, although strictly correct, their readers
wouldn't understand it!
