Hello Tech-whirlers!

I've been reading this list for about six months now, although I rarely
respond. But I would like to say thanks to the regular contributers--I
made the transition from administration to tech writing largely because
of the information I found here.

Since my speciality is multimedia as opposed to hardcopy, I'm in need of

help for a paper due next week. I'm taking a class in document design,
and am trying to locate sources for a discussion on the formating of
warning, danger and caution labels. I would also like to address
disclaimers--those "I'm not responsible if you blow up your neighbor's
car" types. I'm found a few tech writing books that briefly mention the

topic. Now I would like some journal or web sources as well. Any
suggestions or examples would be appreciated. Thanks!

Cindy Penn
