Printing and Distilling the files at a good resolution (I insist on the
PDF files being identical to the 'real' thing on a 600 dpi laser
printer) typically takes less than 10 minutes. I use a Pentium 150.

On a Windoze PC, I would suspect problems with available disk space or
swap file size. (You probably need 50 to 100 Mb free space for
trouble-free ps production).
