Aren't folks talking about whether or not to indent the list past the
left margin of the preceding paragraph?

o This is the first bullet
o This is the second bullet and its text wraps under the first letter
of the first word if it runs past the regular right margin

These bullets above aren't further indented to start with as are the
bullets that follow:

o This is the first bullet indented an extra tab from the margin
o This is the second bullet and its text wraps under the first
letter of the first word if it runs past the right margin

I don't like this style. I prefer to put the bullets in the left margin
of the preceding paragraph rather than indent them further under it.

Now, is this what everyone is talking about. Or do y'all mean that you
don't hang the indent as in the following bullets:

o This is the first bullet
o This is the second bullet and its text wraps under the bullet rather
than first letter of the first word if it runs past the regular right
margin
