If you're in the habit of double-spacing after a sentence, many word
processors have an autocorrect feature that eliminates the second
space. If not, you can search your document for instances of
[space][space] and replace them with [space].

Don't worry about it it HTML, though. Most browsers only display the
first space after a period.
