Hi, All.

I seem to have offended at least one person with my idea that God, as He is
recorded in the Bible, is a "terrible technical communicator."

Please accept my apology if you took offense at what you understood me to
mean. My point had nothing to do with God or theology. I was using
hyperbole. My point was (and is), as I said explicitly in the post, that
what we do as technical communicators is worth while in itself, and so we
need not find precedent in sacred texts. And, furthermore, that there is no
really good precedent in popular sacred texts (please forgive the oxymoron).
We seem to be at a point in our professional evolution that is, at least in
terms of recorded history, previously unattained.

Please also know that this apology was not solicited by anyone.
