Full-time Technical Writer

Looking for a self-starter who is flexible and persistent, can handle tight
deadlines and has excellent people skills.

Minimum of four years related experience. BA/BS or higher in English and/or
Computer Science. Must be well-versed in Microsoft Word 97. Preference will be
given to candidates with experience in RoboHelp Office 6.0; WebHelp, Adobe
Acrobat Suite 3.01; Microsoft Windows 95/98; Unix; Visio Technical 4.1; HTML;
and JavaScript.

Background in data analysis and UML a plus.

Reports to Lead, Technical Documentation Team.

Responsibilities will include:

- Assist in creation of a new Documentation Department, being developed
to document all back-end UNIX-based database and Java Web server systems,
installation, operations, development process and requirements, disaster
recovery, and Windows- and Web-based user tools.

- Assist in maintaining Documentation intranet sites, including
completed documents, drafts and specs.

- Assist developers, QA engineers and managers from other departments in
the gathering of necessary company-wide documentation data.

- Update and format pre-existing documentation.
