Regarding the difference between User Manual and Training Manual:
For my company a User Manual gets distributed to purchasers of our system
(i.e., customers) - usually just a few sets per customer.
A Training Manual gets distributed to our customer's employees who visit
our site for hands-on training on the system - one per trainee.
