I subscribe to a couple of reflectors through ONELIST, and have never
had any problems. (Those are not related to Tech Comm, so I'll refrain
from going into details, lest I be severely punished... ;-) I've never
been subjected to any spam as a result of those subscriptions, at any
rate.
I can't imagine why Mark Bell would refuse to talk to you. If he really
wants subscribers, you'd think he'd be forthcoming and cooperative. I
had thought about joining up also (as an adjunct to TECHWR-L, not a
replacement), but I guess I'll wait 'til I see what happens before I do.
