mif2rtf is a program from a company called Omni
Systems, Inc., that converts mif files to either rtf
or winhelp format.

It actually works pretty well. They will also convert
a sample file as a test.

You will probably get an email from them, since they
read this list, but if not, contact Jeremy Griffith at

I used it to convert 8 VERY complex and tightly
formatted mif chapters to Word files, took me an hour
to do it and a couple of days to clean them up.

It retains style names, cross references, graphics,
headers, footers, etc.

I thnk it cost me a couple of hundred bucks and it was
worth it.
