Hi folks,

i have had the same need...
I have called these links in various ways and I
am also not sure which one is best. Here is a few:
context links
orientation links
trace path

It should be made clear that the scope of "context" or
"orientation" should be limited to the site in question,
i.e. not to a more general site or even global.
