Howdy,

I always used the little caution symbol (exclamaition point in
a triagle) then placed the word WARNING! in bold capital
letters beside it. Last thing I heard, no one had ignored the
warning or not seen it (we had a small customer base).

Using bold capital letters is kind of like shouting at someone.
Seldom will they ignore it, as long as you only use it for
a few words. People tend to completely ignore it if you put
too many words in capital letters (just like we tune out
someone's continual shouting).
