On a completely different topic ...

Feedback from my fellow techwhirlers would be appreciated ... an editor at
my company asked me if this method of coining acronyms is a widely accepted
style:

> ETS 300 207 - 4 Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN);
> Diversion Supplementary Services; Digital Subscriber Signalling System No
> One (DSS1)Protocol; Part 4 - Abstract Test Suite (ATS) and partial
> Protocol Implementation eXtra Information for Testing (PIXIT) proforma
> specification for the user. Edition 1 - 1997 - 09.
