All of the following items are available for any registered TECHWR-L user to post. Initially, all postings will need to be approved by the TECHWR-L staff to avoid issues with spam, so there may be short delay between posting your item and having it appear on the site.

Blog Entry

A blog is a regularly updated journal or diary made up of individual posts shown in reversed chronological order. A blog is tightly coupled to the author so each user will have his 'own' blog.

Calendar Event

An event is an announcement or reminder of anything of interest to the technical communication community. These items appear in the events calendar.

Classified Ad

A Classified Ad allows you to offer services or sell items. These are published at no charge.

Poll

A poll is a multiple-choice question which visitors can vote on.

Quote

A quote can include any pithy, interesting, or funny technical communication-related quotation.

Story

A story is an article in the simplest form: it has a title, a teaser and a body. The teaser is part of the body too. You can use a story to publish original works or to publish pointers to news articles.
