Role
Produce accurate, high quality, well-written product documentation
Write new documentation, update existing documentation
Edit and review documents written by other members of team
Understand technical design documents
Meet deadlines
Conform to writing guidelines and documentation standards
Requirements
Minimum 2 years' technical writing experience in a software environment
Excellent English writing and editing skills
Proactive

I work at Zygo Corporation in Middlefield, CT as a Senior Technical Writer. We have offices throughout the United States, including Beaverton, Oregon, and Delray, Florida. I am hoping to find local Technical Writers for possible contract work. There is no work at present, but there is a possibility of a future need. My goal is to find a potential writer ahead of time for when the need arises. The work would involve equipment operator manuals and software documentation.
