Requisite Pro (Rational Tools)Has anyone used Requisite Pro to set up a software documentation system and templates? I have a new position with a government contractor and we are trying ReqPro out on one set of software documents to see how it works out. I have used it for about two weeks and am finally getting less dangerous with it. ;-) The learning curve is pretty high at first, as they use their own language in their templates. I'm also brand new to the software development world, having been an aviation technical writer for the airlines for the last 3 years. Any advice is appreciated. Req Pro
Hi Gregg,
we are also going to start using req pro for requirements management... i am just starting to review the tutorials and will have a course coming up in Feb/08... as it has been 7 months since you posted this.. how are things going with req pro ? any lessons learned ? is it working for you ?
when you said that you worked for the airlines . that's interesting i work for SITA.. not sure if you have heard of them.. we are a software engineering group which provide passenger self-service application solutions..
anyways let me know how things are going.. i have been in software development for 9+ years so perhaps i can help ;)
