Must have experience (1-3yrs) with documenting web-based applications. The employee will be responsible for writing customer-facing documentation, both manuals and online help. They will work closely with the development team to produce end user documentation.
Required qualifications include thorough knowledge of, and/or experience with:
● Web applications as well as general software systems
(e.g., back-end processing, data import/export, etc.)
● Interpreting business requirements and utilizing techniques used to articulate
product functionality through documentation (e.g. use cases, UML)
● Regularly interacting with development and QA staff to understand product features
● General knowledge of Microsoft.NET
● Tools typically used to creating documentation such as Microsoft Word, FrameMaker,
Visio, MadCap Flash, RoboHelp, etc.
● Good understanding of how to optimally structure documentation
● Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment
● Managing multiple assignments and meeting deadlines with modest supervision
● Ability to work well within the documentation team, as well as with the technical staff
● Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail
● Bachelor degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
