Female Freelance Tech Writers Get Higher Rates in Israel
One of the surprises in the recent Q1 2007 survey of technical writing salaries and freelance rates in Israel conducted by elephant.org.il is that freelance hourly rates for female technical writers are higher than for their male counterparts.
This is not true of salaries for in-house technical writers, where male salaries are slightly higher.
That survey is not anonymous and is now conducted every fiscal quarter. Although the average and median rates were made public at elephant.org.il, access to the detailed results is only free for regular participants in the survey and can be purchased by others.
