A Response to How Reading Levels Are Determined and Why It Matters

I found that, quite awhile ago, there was a discussion on how reading levels are determined by Michael Cenedella. The original article gave, what I feel, is some incorrect information. For example, “A moment’s thought yields the startling realization that at any moment, 50% of the 6th graders are below grade level!” and that all “grade levels are empirically derived from normed tests.” .
