My secondary use for punch cards is not nearly so glamourous as space
shuttles and wind tunnels. I have a treasured box of unpunched hot pink
cards that are absolutely perfect for using as a marker for lines of
text (put the card under the line of hard copy text I need to work with,
I mean). Not as bulky as a ruler, just as wide as the paper, and a nice
color. I use one until the edge is wavy and then get out another one. I
don't know what I'll do when I run out of cards---of course, I've had
this box since 1982, so it'll probably last me to retirement. <g>
