Option 1-1/2 (since this should be done before using Option 2)
Tell the Listserver (see address below)
SET TECHWR-L NOMAIL
This command will keep you subscribed, but it will "turn off" the flow
of mail to your userid. You can then use Option 2 below to access the
archives and retrieve the files you want.
This is the command that should be used when you are going away from
your computer for a few days or more. Set your option to NOMAIL and
you will not come back to a readerlist filled with hundreds of messages.
Once you are caught up on your other work and are ready for mail again,
tell the Listserver
SET TECHWR-L MAIL
>Option 2:
>You can access the archives by telling listserv (mail to address in Option 1)
>GET FILELIST TECHWR-L
>Then you get the files by sending to listserv:
>GET whatever the listserv says the files are. Probably something like:
>GET LOG9303 TECHWR-L
> This command would get the archive for March, 1993.
>PLEASE NOTE:
>All of the above commands go to LISTSERV -at- VM1 -dot- UCC -dot- OKSTATE -dot- EDU -dot-
>DO NOT SEND THEM TO TECHWR-L.
