Johnny -

What software are you using?

MS-Word has a "Heading Numbering" function, that will do exactly what you
want.

All:

I want to inlcude numbers in my headings. For
example 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 2.2.2, 2.2.3, etc. And have them generate in the TOC.

Sorry to say, my company does not have a FrameMaker book.

Cheers,

Johnny.
