Given that it's very easy to convert TIFF files to accepted internet/web
formats, which are .gif, .jpg, and .png (newer browsers only), I suggest it
is fruitless to pursue the plug-in solution. Graphics software can be
downloaded for free that will accomplish this conversion, and anyone
developing web pages can never assume all page readers will have the
required plug-in or desire to obtain it. A good overview of this stuff can
