Hi. Below are some questions that I compiled recently. I hope they help.

1. Who else is in the group and what are their roles? What are their
backgrounds? Can you meet them?
2. Who else will you typically interact with?
3. Who does the scheduling for product releases?
4. How does the documentation fit in the schedule and when does the
schedule get determined?
5. How are last minute changes handled?
6. Do they have a freeze date on the software?
7. Do they have a process in place for developing both the software and
documentation together?
8. Is it a customer-driven environment?
9. What is the average length of time people have been employed at this
company?
10. You might also want to ask about resources such as hardware / software
/ books. For example, do they have a budget for reference materials? How
quickly can you go from a request to having it in your hands?
11. Ask intelligent questions about their competitors.

HTH.
